The 50/Fifty Prize Draw, started in 2008, is a fund raising scheme that all Old Rutlishian adult members can join. Half the money from ticket sales is awarded in prize draws and the other half is donated to the Association to help raise funds for the many activities that take place at the Club.
The cost of one ticket equates to only £8 per month, payable quarterly (£24) or annually (£96) in advance. There are 36 monthly prizes and 4 quarterly prizes a year.
Each ticket is entered into the monthly prize draw. There are 3 monthly prizes of approximately £65, £100 and £160, with a quarterly bumper prize of £1,000. As 50% of all ticket sales is awarded in prizes, the more tickets sold the more the monthly prizes increase.
The tickets can be paid for by cash, cheque, bank transfer or standing order. The list of prize winners is on the Old Ruts website and all winners are contacted by letter and paid by cheque.
